Is personally identifiable information collected from website?


The Ohio FAIR Plan Underwriting Association’s Blue Ribbon Arson Committee (BRAC) website, ohioarsonreward.com, does not collect and/or store any personally identifiable information from its visitors except what the user provides through the BRAC Reward Application. We use cookies to enhance your experience on our website. They enable our website to function more efficiently and provide us with insights into its performance. Importantly, cookies do not allow us access to your computer’s files, and we do not use them to store any personally identifiable information. Any information provided to BRAC will be at the user’s option and will be kept confidential.

BRAC maintains physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access. BRAC follows industry standards on information security management to safeguard information.

Can arson reward nominations be kept anonymous?


Nominations for Arson Rewards will be kept confidential and used for the express purpose of BRAC. Private information will not be released without prior consent from the nominator and/or reward applicant. In addition, the applicant may choose to be anonymous. Please see the BRAC Reward Application for details on how to request anonymity.

Can artwork submitted for BRAC art contest be used by BRAC?


Artwork submitted to the BRAC Art Contest becomes the property of BRAC and may be used to promote public awareness. Posters can be posted on billboards and on banners used by the fire department. Student names will not be released except at any reward ceremony and in any associated press releases.
